(a) Via JomPAY Participating Banks

Please follow the steps below: 

Step 1: Logon to your Internet or Mobile Banking account.

Step 2: Select the JomPAY mode of payment.

Step 3: Enter the JomPAY Biller Code and its Reference Number, then confirm payment.

(b) Through Public Bank's Internet Banking Service

- Payment to UTAR must be made on or before the due date stated on the Student Bill.
- Log on to www.pbebank.com.my (an online service provided by Public Bank Bhd). Follow the instructions for current/savings account holders on how to make online payments.
- This service is accessible daily from 6.00am to 12.00 midnight.
- A service fee will be charged by the Bank for each successful transaction.
- You are advised to print and keep a copy of the 6-digit reference number shown on the confirmation page as receipt reference for the successful execution of the internet banking service.

(c) At Public Bank Branches

- Payment to UTAR must be made on or before the due date stated on the Student Bill.
- Payment can be made in the form of cash / cheque / bank draft / money order / postal order payable to: Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman
- Present your Student Bill and duly completed pay-in slip payable to 'Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman' Account no. 3999207316 when submitting payment to the teller. The Student Bill will be retained by the bank.
- The carbon copy of the validated pay-in slip will be returned to you by the Bank as receipt of your payment.
- A service fee will be charged by the Bank for each transaction.

(d) At the Division of Finance office in Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman at anyone of the following campuses:

(i) Sungai Long Campus
Ground Floor, Block KB, Jalan Sg.Long, Bandar Sungai Long, Cheras, 43000 Kajang, Selangor
(ii) Kampar Campus
Lower Ground, University Administration Block, Jalan Universiti, Bandar Baru Barat, 31900 Kampar, Perak

- Do present your Student Bill when making payment. You are advised to pay on or before the due date stated in the Student Bill.
- Payment can be made in the form of cheque / bank draft / money order or postal order payable to:Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman
- You are advised to write your full name, identity card number and latest telephone number on the reverse side of the cheque.
- Public Bank credit cards and debit cards are accepted for payment of the Student Bill.
- The validated Student Bill will be returned by the University as receipt of your payment.
- Payment in cash will not be accepted

The University account number: 3999207316 as stated in the Student Bill is strictly for you to make payment to the bank teller at Public Bank counters only. You cannot use GIRO interbank or ATM transfer for payment of your Student Bill.

Normally, it takes 3 work days for Public Bank to effect your payment to UTAR. Your Student Bill status in the UTAR Portal will be updated accordingly upon completion of the transaction. Please note that you are not required to submit your payment receipt to the Division of Finance. Do keep the payment receipt for your own reference.

You have to pay the full amount as stated in the Student Bill.

You are advised to do online banking. Please refer to Question 1 stated above.

Since your cheque for payment of the Student Bill was returned by the bank, effectively you have not paid your bill within the payment due date. As such, your subsequent payment of fees would be subjected to late payment charges. If the new cheque is submitted before the due date stated in the Student Bill, there will be no late payment charges.

You are advised to make payment before the payment due date stated in your Student Bill.  After the due date, a late payment charge of RM30.00 will be imposed during the grace period.  After the grace period, for students who apply for reinstatement of study, a reinstatement fee of RM100.00 and a late payment of RM50 will be charged.

After the payment due date as stated in your Student Bill, you are required to download the latest student bill with a late payment charge from the Student Portal. You can pay the latest student bill according to Q1.

The daily retail purchase limit of your Public Bank Debit Card (Visa / Master Card) by default is set at RM3,000.00. If your Student Bill exceeds RM3,000.00, you need to change the daily retail purchase limit of the card and this can be done at any Public Bank ATM machines.
